^^This. Citi doesn't have a history or denying points or doing clawbacks; it denies accounts from being opened.
The TY incident, again, was different. That was perk abuse (in their opinion, not necessarily mine). The action seen (closing accounts) was in
response to given actions. Yes, points may have posted before the closures occured; if I had to guess that was because the point posting was on an automated system while the account closures were due to human efforts (investigation and signing off on this punitive action) which lagged due to the time needed to take the actions.
