In the old days (before June 15th or so) many people were denied with no credit pull for being existing Platinum (or AMEX Select) cardholders, if the offending card had been opened less than ~18 months prior. Regardless of whether it was Visa, MC or AMEX.
Those were dark days indeed. You are, however, good to go.
