Don't worry though, if you have Premier Status AND the Mileage Plus Explorer Card you'll be eligible for a $3 discount for Premier Access. You also must collect enough PQD with your Mileage Plus Explorer Card (the only card that can purchase United flights) to maintain your Premier Status.
