Worth remembering that Amex Gold is 2 Avios per £1 abroad, Lloyds Premier Duo is 2.5 Avios per £1 and IHG Rewards Black is 4 pts per £1.

Depending on your valuation of an Avios ( or Priority Club) point, you are covering much of the 3 per cent FX fee without the trouble of getting yet another card.

Spend on the Lloyds Premier Duo also works towards the 241 voucher and on the IHG card towards the free night at £10k.
