Does this work in the U.S.? Has anyone ever tried this? Looking to rent a convertible from LAX, so if this does in fact work, what car should I rent in order to be able to upgrade one level to the convertible?

I did not try it, but my guess would be, that this is only valid if you rent in Greece, Cyprus or Bulgaria. Those are the countries where you can rent a car with miles too. But if you want to be sure, just call Hertz or A3.
