Booked my first express deal just last week. Got the Aqua Aloha hotel in Waikiki for 87 a night. I at first tried a NYOP for a 3 1/2 star, then a 3 star for 95 dollars a night but the bid was rejected. I could have tried again and probably got one of those for a bit more but I am on a bit of a budget with this trip so about 100 a night is the most I want to pay so I just settled for the express deal.

It is for the week after labor day and for 4 nights. I forgot the rack rate at the time but it was about 105-110 I believe, so a pretty good savings using the express deal and will add up, especially for 4 nights.

Oh! What is everyone elses experience with the guaranteed amenities listed in the express deals? Do you get what is advertised. On the express deal it listed that free breakfast was included, but when I look at the hotel website it states that free breakfast is only if booking direct. So what can I expect?
