Side note: Apologies for some poor pics, I didn't know I was gonna write a report when I took them
Meal service started and I deliberately stayed up for it. Went for the Pan-fried cod which I wasn't aware it was a Chinese option until I saw the steamed rice coming with it. It was fantastic, even better than the braised beef I had last time I flew J, arguably one of the best cooked dishes by CX.

Then the deserts came and I took a peak out at the window to witness the beautiful daybreak over Northern Canada(I think

).

Which eventually got brighter

I like the sky the most when it is at purple and just about to turn blue. It's a color that seems to suit sunrise more than sunset.

Finally had to close it before I p!ss off the FA's or pax because it got too bright.
It was a long dinner. I timed it and found that it was 1.5 hours between drinks were handed out and the dessert plates being collected. It was 4 something by the time I can fold in my tray table again.
Time for bed, but it actually took a while for the FA's to kill the lights of the cabin after dinner was wrapped up, longer than I bet some people would've liked because most were trying to sleep. Eventually the cabin turned dark just as I was about to pass out.

Woke up close to 6 hours later, even though I would've liked to cramp in a few more. But still the flatbed was a pleasure to sleep in.
Spent the next few hours or so watching movies and having their beef tenderloin noodle + Haagen Dazs. Surprised that they actually serve the standard sized Haagen Dazs cups, not the shrinked ones that don't even come with a spoon. Well this is J after all.
