µ-cepheid as a lap infant on at least 4 round-trips and a one-way (and I might be forgetting another trip in there). We were never asked for proof of age. (One of the round-trips was TATL, though, so his passport was presented anyway, for obvious reasons.) That said, for a flight merely 3 weeks after he turned 2, we bought him a seat... policy is policy.
