i am a gold and my upgrade rate is 43% this year, which is about on par with last year. on non-hub-hub routes, it's better, on hub-hub routes it's <10%.

earlier this year i was <25%, it has improved for me the last couple months. i have also been flying slightly higher fare classes on average, which makes a huge difference. on S fares and above i am probably 75%, on N/G/K/L, i am probably closer to 25%.

out of WAS it's hard because of frequent YBM up's on gov't fares. other than SFO, i personally think that DEN is the hardest hub to get upgrades out of.
