As UA-NYC states, there is nothing that states it is a one time status match and that you need to stay the 50 nights to keep it. Yes I know it does not state you don't and that it will be renewed either. So again it is yet another poorly written program. And I am with UA-NYC that I will wait to see what UA Insider has to say about it.

Note: I am already Gold with Marriott now with 10 nights towards next year thanks to carryover. I did sign up though it does nothing for me this year. It was in anticipation that it would be like other promos where if you keep one qualification you keep the other. But I guess we were all assuming and we all know what happens when you assume.
