Hmmm - good to know tha Le Dokhan included breakfast for your friend. We had switched over after finding out the Ambassador had left. We had 4 (award) business class rooms booked. 2 of us are Gold members. At checkin, I had asked about breakfast, they told us that it was in room or in the salon with no supplement. The next morning a couple of people were in the salon and they told us that breakfast was not included at all. We went back and forth several times with the front desk.

Eventually, we just went out for breakfast. They finally told us that because we were gold, that they would extend us continental breakfast only. I was actually pretty upset over the lack of breakfast. Since the hotel would not allow 3 to a room (child), we already had to spend an extra 150,000 points for an extra room. The only difference in rooms was a slightly bigger size and breakfast. Having 10 people in our party makes breakfast a big deal.

The hotel itself is very nice. The concierge when we first arrived showed us the Matisse and Picasso hanging in the lobby. The owners have tried to outfit the hotel with antiques. Besides breakfast, the staff was wonderful.

If you decide to book a business room in this hotel, I would recommend that you get breakfast in writing beforehand,
