Which is a shame because my family specifically booked DL for their upcoming trip in November as it was showing a 744 and that's they wanted.
Booking DL in advance for a specific long-haul aircraft is an exercise in frustration. DL on SEA-NRT is scheduled to see the 744, 777-200LR, 777-200ER, 767-300ER, A330-300, and A330-200 before Halloween 2013. DL has pledged that all TPAC flights will be lie-flat-configured from June 2013 (but no, that doesn't apply to US-48 to HI or to intra-Asia flights).
