Amended my earlier paid & 30K points reservations and was also given these options.

In case you prefer to stay in a Club InterContinental Acropolis view room the supplement will be at EUR 64.21 inclusive of taxes."
Chose to stay in a Club Room with the option to transfer to an Acropolis room if I deem that it is worth the extra EUR 20 per night. Through my contact with the GRM, it sounds like they're very strict about upgrades.
Thanks for all advices! I finally negotiated 50€ supplement for Acropolis view room with club access. In the meantime we decided to have our 4-years old daughter with us, and guest relation manager wrote an e-mail saying kid's bed is free of charge. Seems as good deal in total - 5.000 pts + 50€/night. I'll write report after finishing the stay.
