I've not had any problems with the crew on my last 3 flights, but I'm not a huge fan of it personally.
I had to change my seat at LCY yesterday, in the old app I only had to hit refresh, but with passbook I had to delete the old boarding pass and download the new one. Just seems like un-neccessary complication!
