Platinum vs Gold benefits. Worth 13,000 miles?
Hi!

I am 13,000 miles short of reaching Platinum. I have no future travel booked, so any flying I do to get Platinum would be "extra". Are the benefits offered as Platinum worth the time/expense of earning those extra miles?

As an aside, can anyone suggest the cheapest way to earn the 13,000 miles? I'm based in London.
