I think the biggest farce in all this is that we have to wait until at least 2015 before any decision is taken at all. This is not a new issue - we have been debating the pros and cons of expanding Heathrow for over a decade and still nothing has actually happened. This government needs to grow a pair and actually make some decisions instead of deferring everything until after the next election.
