Problem with this country is that by the time we have talked about it and finally build something it will probably be late, over budget and too small.
On a more sobering level, I find myself hearing of proposals for this or the Isle of Grain or HS2 or Crossrail 2 or the Northern Line spur and thinking "that'll be awesome" and that turning to "2035? I'll be dead by then."
It's one thing to find yourself turning into your parents. I seem to have skipped that and turned into my grandparents.
