Here we go again - is baffling how a new announcement seems to be made on an annual basis.....but nothing ever happens

Only a year ago the government announced a new runway at LHR is dead and buried, now we have a new announcement effectively saying it is back on again with options being considered.
Meanwhile, another year has passed......
LOL - Certainly seems to raise it's head every now and again.
Problem with this country is that by the time we have talked about it and finally build something it will probably be late, over budget and too small.
