I figured this would be a good place to come for resources. It seems my fiancé and I exhausted mostly all options for a quick (driving) getaway from NYC. We are in our mid-30's, love places that offer a lot of options for nightlife but also evoke romance, as well.

We've been to Boston, Mohegan, Foxwoods, and Atlantic City for weekend getaways before. The Poconos seem a bit rundown and lack of nightlife, Hamptons are not really our style...we thought of Baltimore but it's a bit tricky, depending on where you're staying (I know Inner Harbor is beautiful). So, any ideas for someplace less than a 4 hour drive from NYC? Please, thanks!
