OP, sorry you're having trouble using your miles. It's been a few years but in my day I've redeemed plenty of miles for International J tix. Sometimes it takes a lot of work, sometimes it takes flying where business people in paid J don't want to fly & they're willing to release an award seat. Welcome to FlyerTalk.
Needed a laugh...your post is hereby awarded the humorous post of the day award. To the OP, from time to time we all feel your pain, but there are many, many posts in this forum on how to book award travel with DL. Yes, the calendar stinks and is difficult to use; not denying that...you just have to be flexible and use some of the advice herein.
