I like Dirk's a lot, I've even taken classes from his shop, he is a great guy, but his prices send me into sticker shock. I now am a fan of Boston Fish Market (BFM) in Des Plaines (3 miles north of ORD). BFM is open 8-5pm Mon-Sat, closed Sun. Selection & quality of FRESH fish, shrimp, squid, clams, mussels, etc is terrific and prices are so damn low. BFM is the largest processor of whitefish & salmon in the Midwest. If one has time and is looking for lunch or an early dinner, I HIGHLY suggest trying BFM as they also fry or grill any seafood they offer. I've been giddy since this place opened (in case you couldn't tell, I'm a fan

)

What did Hagen's say? If they have them I can stop by on my way to the Sox game this Friday to drop off w/you.
To clarify, by chubs, do you mean the entire smoked chub (whole lake chub) or a chub of say whitefish or smoked lake trout? (also called chubs)
