I've just gotten an invitation to join without an application fee and wonder if this would have value for me (a reasonably serious road warrior with a small company) or my son (CEO of a startup software company). I've got Amex Plat, am Hilton Diamond, etc. The major benefit I can see is 5% to 10% off JetBlue fares, if that is real. Is it?

For my son, he doesn't have any road warrior privileges at the moment and will trying to keep costs down. He does as much as possible to avoid traveling by plane, but was invited to interview at an incubator on the West Coast. Are there features that would make it valuable to him?
