I saw a perfect example of this when comparing the premium room features of Le Dokhan's and Le Metropolitan. As was previously mentioned, Le Dokhan's offers a Business room that is significantly larger (22 vs 28 square meters) and breakfast. On the other hand, Le Metropolitan offers a Deluxe room which is only one level up and marginally bigger (22 vs 20 square meters) and doesn't include breakfast. That room is also only 30 euros extra a night vs 110 euros a night extra for the room at Le Dokhan's. So you see where you get the value of the extra 25,000 points.
As I am still looking for opinions on these hotels, for arguments sake let's take away points as a factor - would anyone rather stay in a regular room at Le Metropolitan over a business room with breakfast at Le Dokhan's?
Just returned from le metropolitan, as gold we were upgraded to a better room from standard and free continental breakfast after asking. better location
