There is nothing wrong with your AmEx account. For whatever reason, some people (myself included) receive small points amount just prior to your monthly statement posting. I don't know why this is, but over a year, it brings me an extra 1000 points + or -

If you're not new to AmEx, then maybe you will now start to receive these "token" points each month, I don't know what triggers this behavior. ^
