Some people say otherwise, so they have obviously had a different experience that I have. I'm not sure why it varies. However, you can't say the exchange rate "never" matches up with Chase's, because for me it has matched up every time I've checked.
Didn't for me. Maybe its dependent upon where you are? I was in Mexico for 3 months and every single transaction it was always off. And not a rounding error either. Now, granted, it wasn't a massive thing. But every penny counts for them over the course of millions of transactions.
