Apartment Rentals: Halcyon Management?
So it looks like Mr. Gfunk and I are moving to Williamsburg. We found a really nice apartment in a brand new building. The management company seems to ask for A LOT of documentation - even beyond what other NYC management companies ask for.

To rent an apartment, they want:
  • Last four consecutive pay stubs
  • Last two federal tax returns
  • Last two W-2 forms
  • Last two months of checking account bank statements
  • Most recent savings acct statement
  • Letter from your employer stating salary
  • Current landlord reference letter

Are these people insane? Or is it just me that this seems like a lot?

The management company is Halcyon Management...anyone ever deal with them?
