I'm a fan of the Sapphire card -- it's the card I stick in my wallet when I travel, especially overseas because of the no-foreign-transaction-fee. Ultimate Rewards points are very useful, and there are a lot of travel-related double points.

My wife and I have cycled through several of them (my visa, her visa, my mastercard, her mastercard), but we've never paid the annual fee. It would be hard for me to actually PAY an annual fee. Does Chase ever waive it, or offer bonus points for renewal?
