How much do luxury mid-full size sedan rental go for in the area?
Good question. A bog standard E-Class goes for $201.11 per day at LAX Hertz, required fees included.

The question is: What would be the weekly rate? :-)
If there was a little discount on the daily rate, that would be my offer of choice when going to California for 3 weeks.

So that's several thousand dollars earned (minus commission of the shared ride website) right there... :-)

BTW: Currently, it's so difficult to get the Model S as a rental car. It would be great, if there were more options out there...
I agree! The longer the rental, the lower the daily rate should be. As a reference, the E-Class daily rate drops to $133.88/day for a one-week rental at LAX.
