I'm sure you'll love Lufthansa. This is the airline that immediately suspended all Star Alliance benefits to bmi frequent flyers on the day of the sale, while other non LH-group airlines gave a grace period where you'd still get benefits and make redemptions.
They're currently moving a bunch of their non core shorthaul routes to Germanwings and a lot of people will lose their lounge entitlement because of that.
I can't see LH being any more generous in the same situation.
