The whole thing does seem like a pointless hissy fit since , indeed, the OP will be entitled to access to EI's lounge since he is travelling in business class
And I'm sure the OP will enjoy the Aer Lingus Boston facilities. He will after all be using the freshest lounge in the complex.

Also, I suppose if he really really wanted to use the BA lounge he can but ask. Being a GGL member they indeed may just let him in. Id just depends who's on the door that day!
