This is the result of TK's rapid expansion and the fact that they are pretty much giving out Elite cards to everyone. The lounge is not even 2 years old and already way too small. Sorry to say it, but it's just typical Turkish planing. I doubt they will expand the lounge in the near future, so it's just to get used to this, and it will probably just get worse and worse over the coming years.
I generally like TK as an airline, but IST is a terrible airport in terms of reliability and that might be what drive me over to another airline.
