Due to the fire on the 787 in London, we did a u-turn over the English Channel and landed in Paris (the captain said due to fuel concerns)

Interesting situation - the airport would not allow passengers to disembark in Paris (and then maybe onwards with Eurostar). A few of the passengers were pretty irate and it looked mutinous at one point.

The captain couldn't get a landing slot in London in the evening, so flew back to ZRH, landed at about 21:30 to gate 37, having flown from 35, so we spent 4 hours to move 40 metres....


Anyone else on the flight?
