For sleeping yes, there is less of this sliding feeling.

However, you have to admit that for day flights the NEV4 is NOT a seat where you can comfortably sit to eat with your legs slightly up (since there is no leg rest), or can have a nap in a median position between fully slid forward for sleeping or fully up.
