Wine is a beverage. Cava is a wine. I drink beverages.

Sadly, I am neither skilled enough nor pretentious enough to care about the various Champagnes, and champagne-substitutes, on the market.

I have no doubt I sit at the low end of pretentiousness. But I do drink my beverages from glassware or china, not plastic or styrofoam containers.
