Personally I decline to support the economies of countries that foster homophobia. There are plenty of fascinating destinations that support gay rights, so I go there instead. Why fund the persecution of gay people?

An additional consideration, beyond the political, is that I don't want to spend a holiday somewhere that I can't be open and relaxed with my partner or where the police would turn a blind eye if we were attacked. Again, plenty of great places to visit where that's not a concern.
