Ritz Carlton in Santiago, Chile
I have stayed at many Marriotts but an upcoming stay will be my first at a Ritz Carlton. The location of the Santiago Marriott did not seem very interesting, so I decided on the RC on Calle El Alcalde seems much better. Staying for 6 nights in Sept.
The website states that the RC has non-smoking rooms but my reservation indicated smoke free property. No opportunity to select non-smoking room. i assume the new smoking laws instituted in March are applicable and the website is not current. Can anyone confirm?
A first stay question: Do RCs treat MR Platinum members similarly to Marriott full service hotels? I am particularly interested in an upgrade to the club floor(s).
Thanks.
