Yes you would be rebooked on to the later flight without quibble, provided there is space!

1 hr 50 from BA1 is fine, you should have 40 minutes in the lounge. T7 to T8 is connected by Airtrain. When I did it recently I managed to get on to the Airtrain just as the last passenger toddled off BA1 - there's a clear view of aircraft from the Airtrain platform - and I was in the Flagship Lounge at T8 19 minutes after leaving BA1, though without luggage. That's the best case scenario. Luggage for BA1 apparently is quite swift. Also BA1 often arrives a bit early too, and BOS can be late. If it is the flight I think you are trying to connect on to then the BOS flight typically leaves from the further gates in the second building of T8, but it is quite compact.
