I promise you. I fly Delta damn near every week and have for many years. Something has changed as of late. Also, note that the rebooks have been the next day for me each time and this was done even though I was able to get on a later flight the same evening with plenty of open seats... Due to my own efforts...
+1. Exact same thing happened to me last week. Comfortable connection originally, first flight late, but still had time to run to the gate right as boarding had started actually. My seat had 'disappeared' as they didn't think I'd make it. Fortunately was able to get the original seat back (in FC!) Also, all four DL flights I took last week at least 30 minutes late and spent an overnight due to a cancellation. I really do think something is going on this summer, we'll see if anything shows up in the on-time stats, etc., but at the very least I think service is really slipping.
