Raffles still contributes here.
I've not seen a rail website that allows you to pay with cheque. Is there any reason you have to pay by this means?
Usually these sites that allow you to earn Avios through them require payment and booking made online, i.e. via a credit/debit card.
What I do to earn extra Avios (in my case via Tesco) on rail bookings is as follows:
- Buy 3V gift cards (in £50 multiples - they give 150 club card points per £50, which converts to Avios) - Tesco doesn't accept cheques, but you could cash one in a bank!
- Go to
www.eastcoast.co.uk (they allow you to book tickets with ANY trail company here)
- But myself e-vouchers with the gift cards
http://tickets.eastcoast.co.uk/ec/en...aseGiftVoucher
- Apply them to my East Coast account and then use them to pay for rail travel.
It also earns you East Coast reward points on top of that.
