Restricted First, including Instant Upgrades, count as full F and earn 60 TPs, or 210 TPs if over 2000 miles.

I don't check in bags, and I've only occasionally passed through STL. DFW I know for a fact that 1 hr 5 is definitely not enough time, you have to reclear security. It would be tight with hand luggage only. Checked luggage will go the whole way through, and that should be possible on these sectors, but what if you and bag got separated? Though maybe that's ok if AA take their time finding you!

So a few questions back:
1) Can you really not manage without checked luggage? I seem to manage 3 weeks on one hand luggage bag quite easily, and I lug 2 laptops, sports gear, full suit etc.

2) If the answer is "no way", then are you in a position to leave your bag with a hotel in ORD and recollect?

3) How much is this trip costing? You don't have many trans continental sectors on this, so none of the juicy 210 TPs. Is there some constraint here? Otherwise I'd be thinking ORD-SFO-SJU and back via LAX, or something. For TP runs ORD and DFW are thoroughly bad news unless going to HNL.

[I am not much of an expert on TP runs, I've only ever done one in my life, but I do a lot of sectors on AA, and my work takes me to SJU as luck would have it. Hopefully a genuine TPer can chip in too].
