The T5 gifts were a cheapy purple nylon bag containing (IIRC) a luggage tag, pen, and travel adapter. Not overwhelmingly exciting, but it was nice to get a look around the terminal before it opened. Someone I know got as far as boarding a plane, pushing back, and a little cockpit visit while they were waiting to be towed back to a gate.

I've signed up - great stuff. I did this in November 2007 for St Pancras as well, that was also good fun, lots of sitting on Eurostars, going to Camden and back.
That was a good 'un too - particularly since they gave you a voucher for a free return trip on the Eurostar as a reward!
