Aren't you routed to the appropriate desk based on the number you call? There are different numbers for each tier and I would think that even if you gave that number to a kettle they would essentially be sent to a CP agent. This is what I would assume based on past experiences working in a call center some time ago. I may be way wrong though.
Well, I always do the agent thing as per
geo1005 above, and since at that point they do ask for the DM number, I always assumed that they would send me elsewhere if I were not in fact CP ....
