I'll have you know that when we travel en famille - hubby has the largest suitcase all to himself....... Daughter and I share a medium size one, and still manage to ring the changes of our outfits more effectively than his lordship does!

My mum does 14 days with a small hand luggage carry on. She has holiday knickers which remain in their pack to and from holiday, to save room.
However with so many people needing to take all their belongings on a holiday. As seen with so many people trying to fit big bags into lockers. Do people really need to carry so much stuff. If less was carried, then fuel costs would be lower. The fuel taxes aren't going away.
