Curiosity about POUG
My OH and I are booked on two different PNRs on an ET flight from LIN to LHR on 2 Sept. Since I would like to offer a flight in CE to my other half, I was hoping to get a nice POUG for £79 each. Well the funny thing is that if I login using my OH PNR she is kindly offered the upgrade, while if I login using my PNR no upgrade is offered. Same flight, same economy ticket, same original price paid... The only difference I can see is that she is Bronze and I am Blue.
Probably just an oddity of the revenue management system, but rather annoying in this case!
Is anyone able/willing to offer a logical explanation?
