The poster in question is talking about ~150 miles of travel each day. The itinerary is in 4 different counties. DART doesn't work for Tarrant, Collin or Denton Counties. (Tarrant has their own transportation authority, not sure about the other two.) It is probably doable with taxis, but highly impractical and expensive. The DFW metroplex is starting to approach Los Angeles-levels of sprawl, IMHO.


With that said, the OP premise is not necessarily incorrect, but, as stated by others, it depends on the location and intent of travel.
