The question here is whether I value travelling through LHR more than LTN. LHR costs me around £20 more in fuel and £40 more in parking (comparing airparks LTN to Long Stay T3) for a 5 day trip.

Add to that the £100+ for the ticket, and I'm looking at a premium of £160 to fly BA.

Wizzair would cost me around £60 rtn for a checked bag, seat choice, and fast track at LTN and BUD.

Ultimately all in getting for my extra £100 is GF at LHR rather than Servisair at LTN. But I do get fast track at BUD with Wizzair to compensate. I guess you can also place a value on the chicken wrap and tiny tin of coke with BA, but I usually take a bottle of water and a sandwich from the lounge at LTN for the flight anyway.

Sorry, but it's not for me. Back to Wizzair and the Orange Peril for SH trips, I reckon.
