One of the shorthaul A321s operated the LHR-BEY BA149 flight yesterday instead of one of the usual ex-BMI midhaul fleet, and of course the return flight to LHR today. So those up front expecting lie-flat seats were graced with 5 hours of crammed CE seats instead, and those further back who had been counting on even the slight benefit of proper bulkhead seats in row 9 (the extra legroom and not having someone else squash their seat into your limited space is a blessing on a 5-hour flight) found themselves similarly wedged in.

This doesn't happen very often, I hope!
