Well, I was baited with the $0 annual fee and later got a 70k point bonus too... I received the heavy tin card via UPS and called the concierge number-
We use Amex Plat and I toggle citi AAcards, just cancelled CSP
So far, I note:
- service rep was excellent, human answers phone and knew my card number by name
-confirmed club upgrades for suites for week of spring break 2014 and Columbus weekend at STT and MCO/ awesome savings here as stays are 3-6 nights for family of 4 (kids young enough to be excluded from upcharge on club level but still eat heartily and often)
-the $200 airline credit is not specific to one airline... Unlike Amex plat - I have to annually anticipate which airline we will incur the most fees... With ritz card, you call post incurring travel fees and they are waived
-travel spend earns 2x points and ritz 5x
-the airport lounge access is worthless
-there are not enough ritz hotels to entice me to keep card but I hope to hit aruba in later 2013 or 2014 so that should help
-I am not yet sure if I would renew but many features compel me...
