As Delta requires you to be present at the gate 15 min prior to scheduled departure. The late flight does not necessarily change this, but if you were there I would contact delta customer service and ask why I wasn't offered IDB compensation.
Interesting. Ok, so the flight status says the flight landed at 10:59am. Scheduled departure for the connecting flight was 11:15am. That's more than 15 minutes... not by much, but who's to say I wasn't at the gate 15 minutes before scheduled boarding? At what point is the computer allowed to "automatically" rebook me, without compensation? It's not like they call my name at the gate 15 minutes prior to boarding to see if I'm there.
