That works because MCT for AI-AI online domestic connections is 75 mts. 240 would only apply if the onward leg was operated by another airline and there was no exception filed.
The more specific MCT determination criteria is the one which applies. Examples: ALL specifies departure airport, so it is more specific than standard MCT. AI-AI online specifies carrier, so it is more specific than the standard MCT and ALL. AI 0100-0399 to AI 0100-0399 specifies flight number, so it is more specific than AI-AI online.
